We lived under the shadow of Mount Harris and on the back side was Indian Creek a favorite place Dad and I liked to go fishing. The creek was not very big and the fish were only six to ten inches in lenght and they were what Sad called pan fry fish. Since it was so close to home and took less that a half hour to get there we went quite often. Mon would alway fix a lunch to take with us and some times we would bring back a load of wood to put in the wood house for winter.

Almost two years ago Grandma and I went on a trip to Coeur d' Alene Idaho. We had never been there and had heard a lot about how beautiful the city was. When we got there it was all water and trees so you coundn't see much. There was this float plane for hire so with this other couple to help pay the expense we took a ride. I was a little nervous but Mon wasn't. When you got up to take off speed when the plane lifted off the water you felt it lunge foreward a bit when the plane left the water. Landing was so smooth you never new when you touched the water.
The city is very beautiful and has an old section down town which we walked throught and Mon bought a Chicken something for the house. There are a lot of rich people and movie stars that have homes there. We flew over a area where there were eight eighteen hole golf courses within a few miles of each other. The pilot told us they were each privitely owned just for their own use. Some of the houses along the lake side were giganitic.

Afternoon on Antelope Island
It was a long way out to the water and when we got there the kids were a little nervous about the water. Ethan and Eli had a fun time in the sand and then the food come out and we all spent time just talking and enjoying the afternoon.

It is just a dream but we have to have dreams. Lincoln and Savanna loved them also.

The Rabbit in loving hands.
Afton and Jack are giving the Rabbit a nice petting. Both kids went out to help feed and water the rabbit. We then brought it in the house where they had a good time petting and playing with him. Afton and the rabbit are about the same size.

Afton In A Basket With Balls
The kids were here after church. It's a tough job getting Afton away from her mother. She will only do it for so long and she will be playing happily and all of a sudden she will look up and then all around and from then on it's the hunt for mother. She's just beginning to warm up Mom and I now.
Afton loves the balls and she would get so excited over them. She pulls herselve up and walks along just about anything. Her and Jack play so cute together and they make each other laugh.
When she's done in the downstairs she heads for the stairs. She can climb them pretty good.
Mon and I went to the Grand Canyon just before Thanksgiving and we found this. Thought the kids might like this picture. The one on the right had fallen off but Grandma finally got it back on.
